For us old folks the best Field Day site in Stanly County?  Morrow Mountain, maybe the best site in the entire state, maybe the best on the east coast, well just maybe the best Field Day site anywhere.  The how to get there directions were easy, Morrow Mountain, at the top of the mountain.  Hot, dry or wet the view was always enjoyable.  Problem was you were locked it at night and the walk from the car was several times a day.  The young folks never complained about the walk.  Maybe we will use it again one day.  Paul – KD4OZI
