- The photo "Field Day 1980" is more than just me and Dex at FD. While Dex (W4DEX) in operating in his Landrover I am generating the power by shifting my weight from pedal to pedal much like the stairstep exercise machine. I didn't weigh near as much back then and it was really work. Dex may be able to add more details about this "machine".
